Can you rent a car in France with a US licence?
Yes, in most cases you can rent a car in France with a valid US driver’s licence.
Generally, for a tourist stay of less than 90 days, your US licence can be used for driving in France, subject to the applicable conditions.
If you later become a resident in France, different rules apply. In particular, you may need to exchange your foreign licence for a French one depending on your situation and the country or US state that issued it.
